• Facility & Organization Administrators: We share resident activity data and engagement metrics with the facility staff and enterprise organization administrators where the resident resides.
• Family Members: We share specific linked resident activity and updates with family members who have registered for a family account.
• Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third-party vendors, including Stripe for payment processing, and Resend for transactional emails.
• AI Features: Resident game activity data may be shared with Google's Gemini AI to generate personalized greetings and engagement summaries. No personally identifiable health information is shared with AI.

5. Cookies and Sessions

We use session cookies to authenticate users and maintain your logged-in state while using the CarePlay platform.

6. Data Retention

Resident data is soft-deleted (deactivated, not permanently removed) when a resident moves out of a facility or is otherwise removed from the active system, to maintain historical engagement reports.

We implement industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is designed for senior living environments and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13.
